Yukon Department of Education; registration is administered through Aurora Virtual School (AVS) for English-language home education, and by the Commission scolaire francophone du Yukon (programme Ecole Nomade) for French.
Who actually reviews your child
The Minister may refuse to approve a plan (Regs s.3) and may terminate (Act s.31(8)). AVS's operational page claims it has no authority to approve or supervise, that claim conflicts with the regulation. Do not tell a family AVS cannot refuse.
Act s.31(2): before the start of a home education program and on an annual basis thereafter. AVS operational dates (15 May / 15 Sept / 30 Sept) are NOT on the archived yukon.ca page, do not print them as statute.

Act s.31(3)(a): initial plan before the start of the home education program. AVS form says plans are for one school calendar year and 'need to be renewed each year prior to September 15th', that operational line CONFLICTS with the Act's three-year minimum. Do not resolve the conflict in family copy; name both.

Act s.31(3)(c): each plan shall include a description of the learning activities that will comply with the goals in subparagraph 4(a)(i). Achievement testing is optional at parent request (s.31(4); Regs s.6) unless the Minister uses s.31(7)-(8). Do not list testing or provincial exams as a mandatory parent filing.
